When and where is the GOTR Fall 5K?

Event date/time:  Saturday, November 16 at 9AM

Event location:  Millersville University

How do I register for the 5K event?

Click here to register for the 5K.

GOTR/GOT participants do not need to register for the race.

Our Fall 5K is open to GOTR/GOT participants, their running buddies, and their immediate family members only.  Each girl may have only one running buddy.

If, in addition to registering for the race as a running buddy or immediate family member, you’d also like to run as a SoleMate, please click here to register as a SoleMate.  SoleMates participate in an athletic event of choice, in this case our GOTR 5K on November 16, and also commit to raising a minimum of $300 for the GOTR of Lancaster scholarship program, ensuring that all girls have the opportunity to participate in GOTR regardless of ability to pay the program fee.  Fundraised money is due 30 days beyond the event date, in this case, December 16, 2013.  Running buddies and family members who also commit to being a SoleMate receive free GOTR 5K race registration.  After registering as a SoleMate, you will receive special race registration instructions and coupon code.  Learn more about our SoleMates program here, and please email with any questions concerning this initiative.

How much does it cost to register for the race?

Race registration is $15 for running buddies and $20 for immediate family members who are not running buddies.  The cost of race registration for GOTR/GOT participants is covered by their program fee.

What do I receive with my race registration?

Registrants will receive a race T-shirt and the joy of helping their buddy or family member cross the finish line!  Those who register for the race by November 27 are guaranteed a race T-shirt in the size they designated during registration.

Where do I get my T-shirt and bib?

Please check back for specific dates/times/locations for shirt/bib pick-up.

The girls do not need to pick up T-shirts or race bibs prior to the race.  GOTR coaches will have the T-shirts and bibs for the girls.  T-shirt pick-up is for running buddies and community members only.

May I register for the race after online registration ends?

Online registration ends on November 12 at 9PM.  Register online to avoid lines on race morning.  After online registration closes, race registration will be available at shirt/bib pick-up and also on race morning.  Please check back for specific dates/times/locations.  Register in person using cash, credit card, or check.

What else do I need to know about the GOTR Spring 5K?

Each girl may have only one running buddy.

Strollers and walkers are welcome at the race.  If you will have a stroller or are walking the 5K, please consider lining up toward the rear of the race start to minimize the injury potential of runners who may be trying to get around you.  Thank you!
