When and where is the GOTR Spring 5K?
Event date/time: Saturday, May 18 at 9AM
Event location: Franklin and Marshall College
How do I register for the 5K event?
Click here to register for the 5K.
GOTR/GOT participants do not need to register for the race.
Our Spring 5K is open to the community. Everyone is welcome to run. Each girl may have only one running buddy.
If, in addition to registering for the races as a running buddy or community member, you’d also like to run as a SoleMate, please click here to register as a SoleMate. SoleMates participate in an athletic event of choice, in this case our GOTR 5K on May 18, and also commit to raising a minimum of $300 for the GOTR of Lancaster scholarship program, ensuring that all girls have the opportunity to participate in GOTR regardless of ability to pay the program fee. Fundraised money is due 30 days beyond the event date, in this case, June 17, 2013. Running buddies and family members who also commit to being a SoleMate receive free GOTR 5K race registration. After registering as a SoleMate, you will receive special race registration instructions and coupon code. Learn more about our SoleMates program here, and please email solemates@gotrlancaster.org with any questions concerning this initiative.
How much does it cost to register for the race?
Race registration is $20 for running buddies and $25 for family and community members who are not running buddies. The cost goes up to $30.00 per participant after online registrations ends on Wednesday, May 15th at 9PM. The cost of race registration for GOTR/GOT participants is covered by their program fee. Our Spring 5K acts as a fundraiser for GOTR of Lancaster. All proceeds from the race will go to the GOTR of Lancaster scholarship fund, which helps to ensure that all girls may participate in the program, regardless of financial limitations.
What do I receive with my race registration?
Registrants will receive a race T-shirt and the joy of helping their buddy or family member cross the finish line! Those who register for the race by April 29 are guaranteed a race T-shirt in the size they designated during registration.
Where do I get my T-shirt and bib?
T-shirt pick up and race registration are available on Friday, May 17 from 11AM-1PM and 4PM-6PM or on race morning from 7AM-8:30AM at Franklin and Marshall College.
